Salvaged Legacies: Obsolesence in Practice and Experience

The project will examine the intersection and relationship between aging and obsolescence, with a focus on sites where technological/infrastructural change meets an aging workforce as well as where aging legacy systems are used, maintained, or being retired. The question is how human aging and technological obsolescence are co-constituted? And further, how do agism and obsolescence intersect in valuations of technologically-mediated work across infrastructural lifetimes?
