Environmental infrastructures

The overall objective proposed research is to improve our understanding of the social technological conditions for making global environmentally sustainable infrastructures the research uses theoretical and methodological tool from science and technolofy studies and social anthropology. The proposed three-month research visit in Japan has the following specific obejctives relating to social studies of environmental infrastructures.

1.Theoretically, it aims to futher specify the analytical concept of ‘environmental infrastructures’.
2.Methodological, it aims to develop a comparative framework for contrasting environmental infrastructures.
3.Empirically, it aims to begin case analysis of the applicant´s and collaborators’ data materials.
